Brian, Jeff, Kevin, & Eric Baker, 4th generation family members & owners of Baker Cheese presented a platinum level donation of $70,000. With the Baker Cheese donation & the generosity of many individuals, companies, & supporters of the Holyland Food Pantry in just six months, we have raised and received the $250,000 required to reach our next milestone.
This significant milestone achievement provided Jenny Krikava, Community Engagement Manager the opportunity to present a $250,000 grant check from the Basic Needs Giving Partnership Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region supported by the U.S. Venture Fund for Basic Needs, the JJ Keller Foundation & other community partners.
To top the afternoon off, Fr. Gary Wegner, Holyland Catholic Parishes blessed the land in which the future pantry will be built.
